At Physique, we combine strength training with evidence from the latest scientific research studies, to help with rehabilitation from injury or illness.
We have been collaborating with various universities and medical professionals including the University of Sydney, Faculty of Medicine and Health in NSW. We have been providing data and feedback on research from people suffering from TBI's and ABI's, so that they can achieve better outcomes following illness or injury.

Our cutting edge programs have delivered exceptional results, which has prompted new guidelines to be developed Australia wide, which will help thousands of suffers. Strength training is an effective tool for rehabilitation because it helps improve muscle strength, endurance, and overall physical function.
When we experience an injury or illness that affects our physical and mental abilities, strength training can help restore function and mobility. Findings have indicated that our clients have had an increase in Neuro Plasticity, the brain's ability to change and adapt in response to new experiences. This helped improve mobility, function, (physical and cognitive) learning and memory.
It has been identified that as our muscles become weaker, due to inactivity or lack of use, (especially following injury or sickness), strength training helped rebuild muscle mass and strength, which is essential for restoring function and mobility. By training, we found that muscles around various joints, became stronger, supporting the joint, improving mobility and range of motion.
By strengthening the muscles around an injured or painful area, individuals can reduce the pressure on the affected area and improve overall joint function, reducing pain and discomfort. This enables us to perform daily tasks and physical activities easier, making us feel empowered and improving our mental health.
Overall, strength training can be a powerful tool for rehabilitation, by improving muscle strength, endurance, and physical function, we can restore our function and mobility, reduce pain, and improve the overall quality of life.
